Backup | A Backup is the partial or compelete Backup Copy of system data to prevent the loss of that information in case of a system malfunction or defect. The securing of data can be absolved manually or programmed to run automatically in certain intervals. The necessary media is available at your disposal. Common media includes external Hard Disk Drives, CD-ROMs, DVDs or USB-Sticks. The storage medium/carrier with the backup copy should be stored seperately, not connected to the computer unit. |
browser | A browser allows the user to surf the internet, to receive and send mails, to read e-mails, and to send and receive data. The most common browsers used today are Mozilla Firefox and the Microsoft Internet Explorer. New on the market is the browser Google Chrome. |
