telnet | Telnet enables a network connection to another computer device or operating system and allows the user to directly load or execute programs. The access via telnet is independent of location and type of the device that is to be controlled. Telnet was developed by the Network Control Center (NCC) and the Network Information Center (NIC) commissioned by the US department of defense. |
thousand-contact price (TCP) | The thousand-contact price (TCP) is the amount of money required for an advertisement campaign to reach one thousand individuals belonging to a specific target group. In online-marketing, it is seen as a valid count simply when a banner is seen by a potential customer. |
Top-Level-Domains (TLD) | A Top-Level-Domain (TLD) describes the last part of an internet domain name, for example the ending ".de" for Germany. These domain endings are assigned and managed by so-called NICs (in Germany THE DENIC), a central authority which manages and assigns names and numbers in the internet. This authority also determines the conditions of who can attain and register a desired domain address. |
type-ins | "type-ins" are the number of page views not related to hyperlinks. For a page view to be counted as a "type-in", the address must be entered via the keyboard. "type-ins" are interesting in determining the value of an internet address. |
TYPO3 | TYPO3 is a free and open Content-Management-System for internet pages. The system allows individual adjustment to each single page, for which there are over 3000 add-ons, such as shop systems or discussion forums. A collaboration of volunteers is continually working on TYPO3's further development. |
